The Baba Sarsai Nath Book Bank Welfare Trust in Sirsa is a charitable organization providing free textbooks, coaching, and career guidance to underprivileged students through events like the "Education Langar," aiming to prevent dropouts by ensuring access to educational materials and holistic support. They organize book distribution ceremonies at venues like the Sri Gaushala auditorium and also offer free spectacles, functioning as a vital resource for students in Sirsa.
Due to rising prices of books, several poor students can’t afford to buy textbooks. It is all the more difficult for professional courses. The Book Bank initiative aims to provide syllabus books to college students who cannot afford expensive or specialised course materials.
